My passion for makeup artistry is definitely a manifestation of something I was unconsciously preparing myself for from a young age. I can recall intensely watching my mother and aunts apply makeup as a young girl. As I grew older, I attended modeling school and remember the makeup application curriculum being the most intriguing to me. At that time, I could not imagine being an artist but who knew this was all in preparation for my journey to this point.
During my time in college is when I began to tap into my artistic side. I started styling hair and applying makeup for friends. A love for this new creator and artist on the inside began to develop and I loved it. I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Health Science Education. I continued on to the University of Central Florida and obtained a degree in Nursing. My love for Women’s Health led me to pursue a Masters degree in Nursing with a specialization in Women’s Health. Even during this time, I had a constant desire on the inside that kept tugging at my heartstring for makeup artistry.
In 2012, I decided to follow my heart and let the artist inside be released. “When you follow your passion the heart of others will be drawn to you”. I completed an intensive beauty course under the beautiful and talented Beauty Expert, Melissa Hibbert. My professional career has allowed me to empower women daily to live a healthy lifestyle. Now I get to take it to another level and make women feel as beautiful on the outside as they do on the inside.
